Living Library

Gestalt practice is experiential—people learn by doing, not just reading or watching. The Living Library is where the archive is met in practice: short, live experiences that let you engage the same teachings the archive preserves. It’s our way of making sure this isn’t merely “put online,” but made useful—felt in the body, tried in real time, and carried back into daily life.

The Living Library hosts a steady rhythm of member gatherings—practice circles with brief instruction and time to work, “discover the library” tours that show how to use the archive in real practice, and themed sessions that explore core areas like living and dying, dreams, somatic work, and open seat. We also offer occasional view-and-discuss events using historical videos, plus conversations with teachers across the lineage. Most programs are for members (with some open to the public). Sessions occur online and in person, and many are recorded so members can revisit the material.
