Integrated Therapy

Patrice lived and studied at Esalen from 1996 to 2002, working with Chris Price and Dorothy Charles. In her practice she pairs gestalt practice with Feldenkrais-informed movement learning—using gentle attention, small experiments, and clear present-tense language to help people notice, organize, and choose their next step. She works with individuals, couples, and groups in California.

Her background includes decades of body-centered education and counseling, certification in Cortical Field Reeducation® and training in Hakomi and gestalt practice, and has taught body-centered awareness programs at Esalen and Omega.

In sessions, Patrice blends simple awareness practices (breath, sensation awareness) with movement explorations drawn from Feldenkrais principles—refining ease, improving organization, and reducing effort, so clients can respond rather than react. She also integrates relational work and present-moment process to support clearer contact and communication.
