About Gestalt Practice Library and Resource Center

Gestalt Practice Library and Resource Center is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving, cataloging, and sharing the body of work on gestalt practice as developed by Richard Price. Our curated digital collection includes rare audio, video, and written materials from more than 50 years of teaching, practice, and related influences such as gestalt psychology, Buddhist practice, Taoism, and holistic approaches to health.

We serve both as a public archive—ensuring this material remains available to future generations—and as a living space for exploration, where anyone curious about gestalt practice can engage through recorded teachings, guided practices, and community dialogue.

Rooted in the lineage of Richard Price’s work at the Esalen Institute, our library reflects a tradition that values present-moment awareness, embodied experience, and openness to the whole of life. In addition to preserving history, we offer opportunities to experience the practice directly, connect with others, and contribute to its ongoing life.
